How It Works: Step-by-Step Guide for Teachers |
Complete the Required CourseTeachers must first take the course they wish to teach. Upon completion, the teacher will receive a Certificate of Achievement. |
Teach the Course to StudentsOnce certified, the teacher can deliver the program to their students, following Alberta Learning's approved CTS curriculum resources. |
Submit the Certificate RequestAfter completing the course with students, teachers submit the Certificate Request Document, which includes a list of the participating students' names. SMCA will review the request, create the invoice, and send the certificates by mail to the school. |
Certificate of Achievement: Recognizing Student SuccessUpon successful completion of the program, students are awarded a Certificate of Achievement. |
