MacEwan University PEDS 240 Student Options

PEDS 240 -Introduction to Sports Injury Management: Analysis of practical and theoretical concepts of sports injury. Includes an overview of sports medicine, care and prevention of injuries, and safety in athletics and physical education.

Students enrolled in physical education or kinesiology programs at post-secondary institutions can earn a Certificate of Achievement in Athletic Injury Management and Sport Taping & Strapping by completing recognized courses. The MacEwan University PEDS 240 Course is currently recognized by the SMCA and is eligible to receive certificates of achievement.
