Professional Therapist Kit Rentals

When it comes to kit rentals Alberta organizations can rely on, you can’t go wrong with the Sport Medicine Council of Alberta. We have a large stock of kit rentals for you to choose from that can meet all of your sports and recreation needs.

To rent kits please review the Kit Rental FAQ's then click the product below and fill out all required information. Please note that Kit Rental Requests are on a first come first serve basis. Please allow 1 to 3 business days for a response from our team. If this is an urgent request or if you have any specific questions please submit a contact form or call our office at 780-415-0812 and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Borrowers are responsible for excessive damage to, or loss of borrowed supplies. Upon Kit Rental Request Approval you will be required to fill out a Professional Therapist Rental Agreement.

How much are rental fees?

Base Rental Fee: The initial rental fee per therapist kit is $60.00 plus GST. This covers the cost of renting the kit itself for a two-week period.

Extension Fee: If the rental period is extended beyond the initial two weeks, an additional fee of $30.00 per kit per week will be charged.

Kit Supply Usage Charges: Apart from the rental fee, renters are accountable for any supplies utilized from the kit during the rental period. Upon returning the kit, we conduct an inventory count to identify any missing, damaged, or used supplies. If any items are found to be missing, damaged, or used, renters will be invoiced for the corresponding costs, which will be added to the final invoice. Please review the product categories to view how items are accounted for and charged.

Membership Discount: Holders of a $50.00 Annual Membership or recent course attendees can avail themselves of a 20% discount on the total invoice, which includes both the rental fee and any charges for used supplies.

Before renting our kits, it's essential to familiarize yourself with the categorization of our products. We've classified our items into four distinct categories to ensure clarity regarding their usage and potential charges upon return. Below, you'll find a breakdown of each category along with the associated conditions for charges.

Reusable Products:

These items are reusable throughout your rental period. No additional charges will be incurred if returned undamaged. We ensure thorough cleaning for reuse. Charges apply if the following items are damaged or missing from the kit upon return:

Long-Lasting Consumables:

These items are considered long-lasting consumables and are stocked full or near full at the time of rental. Charges may apply if the items are returned significantly depleted. Charges will apply if the items are damaged or missing from the kit upon return:

Partially Used Consumables:

These items are considered consumable but are not individually packaged. Charges will apply if these consumable items are partially used. It’s recommended you keep the partially used item as charges will apply for full replacements. These items are replaced back to their full quantity for the next renter. Charges will apply if these items are damaged or missing from the kit upon return:

What are the shipping/pickup options?

Pick-Up/Delivery:

We offer flexible Monday to Friday pick-up dates and times at our office location (11759 Groat Road NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T5M3K6). We also offer affordable shipping rates through Canada Post, upon request we can provide you with a shipping quote.
